Taikyoku 1, 2 and 3

(1st Cause or Body Side Form)
 
The 5 Fundamental Elements
  1. Hip Rotation
  2. Body Timing
  3. Expansion and Contraction
  4. Proper Breath (soft and hard)
  5. Kihon Waza (basic technique)

The foot pattern resembles an I or H shaped pattern.

All punches will be at your body level.


Taikyoku Ichiban – Low block with low punch.
  1. Bow and announce your form.
  2. Cross the arms on the chest, step out into horse stance with your right leg and execute a double low block.
  3. Head snap left. Step forward with your right leg into a right front stance. Bring the left hand up in preparatory position for a left low block.
  4. Rotate on the heels of the feet counterclockwise into a left front stance and execute a left low block. The timing is so that the hand and body start and stop at the same time.
  5. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  6. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right low block.
  7. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  8. Head snap left. Step back into a right front stance and preparatory position for a left low block.
  9. Rotate counterclockwise on the heels of the feet into a left front stance and simultaneously execute a left low block.
  10. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  11. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  12. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass. Kiai Point!
  13. Head snap right. Slide through with the left leg into a left front stance facing 90 degrees to your right simultaneously executing a left low block.
  14. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  15. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right low block.
  16. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  17. Head snap left. Step back into a right front stance and preparatory position for a left low block.
  18. Rotate counterclockwise on the heels of the feet into a left front stance and simultaneously execute a left low block.
  19. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  20. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  21. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  22. Head snap right. Slide through with the left leg into a left front stance facing 90 degrees to your right simultaneously executing a left low block.
  23. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  24. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right low block.
  25. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left low twisting punch to the Pubic Bone and center of body mass.
  26. Head snap to the front. Bring left foot back into a full face horse stance and execute a double low block.
  27. Bring your right foot to your left (formal stance) at the same time make a right fist and bring to left palm chest level. (Karate is my secret). Hands then move into a open hand position palms out. (I bare no weapons). Hands then come down into a palm together position. (I mean no harm). Hands then come to side.
  28. Bow. End of exercise.
 

Taikyoku Niban – Middle block with Middle punch.
  1. Bow and announce your form.
  2. Cross the arms on the chest, step out into horse stance with your right leg and execute a double low block.
  3. Head snap left. Step forward with your right leg into a right front stance. Bring the left hand to your hip in preparatory position for a left middle block.
  4. Rotate on the heels of the feet counterclockwise into a left front stance and execute a left middle block. The timing is so that the hand and body start and stop at the same time.
  5. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  6. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right middle block.
  7. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  8. Head snap left. Step back into a right front stance and preparatory position for a left middle block.
  9. Rotate counterclockwise on the heels of the feet into a left front stance and simultaneously execute a left middle block.
  10. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  11. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  12. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass. Kiai Point!
  13. Head snap right. Slide through with the left leg into a left front stance facing 90 degrees to your right simultaneously executing a left middle block.
  14. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  15. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right middle block.
  16. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  17. Head snap left. Step back into a right front stance and preparatory position for a left middle block.
  18. Rotate counterclockwise on the heels of the feet into a left front stance and simultaneously execute a left middle block.
  19. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  20. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  21. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  22. Head snap right. Slide through with the left leg into a left front stance facing 90 degrees to your right simultaneously executing a left middle block.
  23. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  24. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right middle block.
  25. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left middle twisting punch to the Solar Plexus and center of body mass.
  26. Head snap to the front. Bring left foot back into a full face horse stance and execute a double low block.
  27. Bring your right foot to your left (formal stance) at the same time make a right fist and bring to left palm chest level. (Karate is my secret). Taikyoku Sanban – High block with high punch.
  1. Bow and announce your form.

  3. Head snap left. Step forward with your right leg into a right front stance. Bring the left hand to chambered position for a left high block.
  4. Rotate on the heels of the feet counterclockwise into a left front stance and execute a left high block. The timing is so that the hand and body start and stop at the same time.
  5. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  6. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right high block.
  7. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  8. Head snap left. Step back into a right front stance and preparatory position for a left high block.
  9. Rotate counterclockwise on the heels of the feet into a left front stance and simultaneously execute a left high block.
  10. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  11. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  12. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass. Kiai Point!
  13. Head snap right. Slide through with the left leg into a left front stance facing 90 degrees to your right simultaneously executing a left high block.
  14. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  15. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right high block.
  16. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  17. Head snap left. Step back into a right front stance and preparatory position for a left high block.
  18. Rotate counterclockwise on the heels of the feet into a left front stance and simultaneously execute a left high block.
  19. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  20. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  21. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  22. Head snap right. Slide through with the left leg into a left front stance facing 90 degrees to your right simultaneously executing a left high block.
  23. Step forward with the right leg into a right front stance and execute a right high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  24. Head snap over the right shoulder and rotate clockwise with the right leg 180 degrees into a right front stance and simultaneously execute a right high block.
  25. Step forward with the left leg into a left front stance and execute a left high twisting punch to the Mandible and center of body mass.
  26. Head snap to the front. Bring left foot back into a full face horse stance and execute a double low block.
